- Acoustic upholstery is a family of
laminates combining the acoustic performance of open cell urethane foams
with durable, attractive fabrics and vinyls. Upholstery products are
available in a wide variety of colors and textures.
- Federal Foam Technologies protective
laminates are primarily designed for applications where environmental
conditions are not suitable for uncovered foam. These laminates will
extend the service life of the foam by protecting it from radiant heat
energy, UV radiation, aromatic hydrocarbons, caustic liquids, dust and
other fine particulate matter.
- Floortite matting is usually incorporated
as the top surface of a laminate containing one or more layers of
flexible foam and sound absorption materials. This combination of
materials forms attractive, skid-resistant floormats which also function
as excellent sound barriers.
- Federal Foam Technologies acoustic mass
materials are the ultimate sound control products. Through the use of
different combinations of resilient foams and mass materials, it is
possible to attain optimum performance in each of the three basic sound
attenuation functions: absorption, transmission barrier and vibration
damping.
- Specialized foams available that have
excellent resistance to water, solvents and most industrial chemicals.
They have a closed cell structure, most with low specific gravity and
low thermal conductivity to perform a variety of sealing, gasketing,
cushioning and shock absorption functions.
